Before I became a photographer I didn’t really understand how a model could be a muse of sorts, or why some photographers only liked to work with certain people. And at this point I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures as a whole.

That said, I particularly look forward to shoots with my friend Lara. With her it’s a collaborative process (for example, the shots in the turquoise play room on a kids chair were her idea), which makes the whole thing twice as fun. She’s up for anything, has great ideas, and I love love love being with her.

We recently did a maternity shoot then gathered up her twin boys Jax and Xander to do a mini-family shoot.
